3 Spring Trends

If you haven’t already thought about redecorating something in your house with the arrival of spring, well now is the time! If you wonder what should you change I suggest to find places in your house which are in need of a little bit of life. The first trend I’d like to speak about is the Color White. I know, I know white isn’t really a color, but this spring you need to bring light in your house and decorating in white (and add a pop of color) is the main thing to do for a brighter home. The second trend speaks about imposing colors as green, baby blue, yellow on velvet couches and on little accessories like flower vases, a green plant, a blanket or candle jars. The last, but not the least trend speaks about decorating with a mix of patterns. I mean, try to mix something that [ Continue reading ]

Fall Kitchen And Bathroom Decor

When it comes to kitchen and bathroom it is a little bit difficult to think about fall decor, but not impossible. I’ve done some research and I found some cute ideas. The first one is to make toothbrushes, cotton pads, candles holder *for bathroom*, and supports for salt, pepper and sugar for the kitchen; Paint some vases where you can put flowers for both bathroom and kitchen; As I said before, about the bedroom and living room decor, paintings are a good idea also for bathroom and kitchen, but in my opinion this time it should only contain quotes.

December is hereee.. and Christmas is also almost here = THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR. But, what do we love the most about this month? Decorations, of course! I am here again, to help, to advise you about how to decorate your house for Christmas just how I did about Fall Decoration, I will do separate posts for every room of the house. In this post I will show you how to decorate the exterior of the house. Christmas lights are a priority when it comes to decorate your house, so be free and start putting lots and lots of lightings around your windows, your door, and why not roof. For the front door I would like to put a wreath made from pine cones like this one: Beside the lights you can also place some tree garlands,  exactly how you decorate the Christmas tree; If you have [ Continue reading ]

Casa Xixim by Specht Harpman Architects

Description by Specht Harpman Architects This residence, on a narrow lot fronting a protected bay in Tulum, Mexico, was designed to be fully self-sufficient, and to immerse the occupants in the range of environments that the site offers. A narrow path brings visitors through dense vegetation to a large living / dining / kitchen space that is fully open to the beach beyond. Four bedrooms, above and adjacent to this space, can also be fully opened to the exterior. The transparency of the house allows prevailing winds to flow through and provide cooling while maximizing views of the site. The house is powered by a photovoltaic canopy that shades a large rooftop terrace. This terrace also collects rainwater that is filtered and stored for use. Other roof areas are planted with native species that provide insulation and screening. All waste is processed through a digester and artificial wetlands system. The [ Continue reading ]

Creative rooms for teenagers

I have only 18 years old and I love everything that refers to art. When it comes to design my own room, I spend hours and hours looking for inspiration, because I want everything to look arty and perfect if possible. If you are a teenager, you love art, or you just want your room to look as funky as possible I would like to show you some cool ideas. The first room from Pavel Vetrov uses contrasting colors to bring an exciting energy to the bedroom. The combination of black and bright yellow looks so, so nonconformist This one reminds you of London Eye. The space, from Svitlana Petelko is a more typical bedroom, with a soft sided bed taking up much of the area, a perfect room to spend a relaxing day in front of the TV.   This one is colorful and perfect for a nature lover.
