Fall Living Room Decor

For the living room the things are simpler, because the space is bigger and you have enough room to place spacious paints and decors. First of all, I would choose for a custom paint, not too big, but also not to small. *if you want the smaller version you can make more of it; Another good idea is to decorate your own candles and also the table where you put them, use some fake leaves, some colored pinecones, maybe some acorns; The last, but not least idea is to put a cozy blanket on your sofa.

Ceramic House

The ceramic House was the idea of the Spanish architect Hector Ruiz – Velazquez and it is not an actual house, but rather a small apartment in Madrid. These apartment doesn’t have any entry from room to room, no doors. The idea of the architect being to ease the communication between family members in different rooms. Although I used the term ‘family’, the architect Hector says that this apartment is dedicated to those who live all by themselves, because the apartment itself it’s not big enough. The interior is all white because almost everything is made with cerami, and I suspect that the apartment temperature is lower (because of ceramic wall and floor).

Interior Courtyard

A garden in the house? Sounds a little bit strange, I know, but for me this is again an original idea which inspires and makes me to want increasingly more to live in a house, not in an apartment. What could be better than sitting in the living room, on a winter evening, relaxing with a cup of hot chocolate and surround a small garden with plants? I do not find it difficult to maintain, as long as it isn’t large and occupies only a small part of your space. I said this too in previous articles and I think it is something worth to remind when decorating our space: feng shui encourage the use of many herbs and natural elements to decorate the house , so a kindergarten inside the living room does not sound bad at all , right?

Clocks

The watches are also included in the category of decorations for the home, although very little attention it’s given to this issue , they are indispensable . Well, I thought about this issue because, honestly, I ‘m a little bit bored with the classical watches that are hung on a nail on the wall in the hallway or kitchen .I took five minutes of my time searching for a  few original, as artistic as possible watches that also look better.I encourage you to pay more attention to basic decorations which occupies a small place in your house/apartment.

Dream House Or Movie House?

Have you ever watched a movie with no luxurious apartments or houses? Is there anyone in this world who can say “I’ve never seen a beautiful house in a movie’? I think I know the question. HMM… NOO!? I also know for sure that a dream house is actually a movie house (that house with the best design in the world which we see in the movies, with a big pool in the garden, with a design that reminds us of a castel) Here are some architects that can make everything in your house look like those in the movies: –David Collins –David Chipperfield –Duggan Morris –Wells Mackereth My favorite movie houses are those with big windows from which you can see the forest, those with big gardens surrounded by plants. The house from Twilight is one that I can take as a mark. Which is yours?

Dark Rooms

Christopher Leach once told us, ‘be brave and decorate with dark color. It doesn’t mean you will end up with a room of Stygian gloom. If a space doesn’t receive much natural light, there is no jolly yellow or bright white on earth that will remedy it.’ Black was always my go-to color, my favorite one, so that’s why I thought about talking about dark rooms, black walls. Cause why not? If you are stylish enough, and you know how to make it work, your room won’t look grungy, but intimate, romantic.
