3 Spring Trends

3 Spring Trends

If you haven’t already thought about redecorating something in your house with the arrival of spring, well now is the time!

If you wonder what should you change I suggest to find places in your house which are in need of a little bit of life.

The first trend I’d like to speak about is the Color White. I know, I know white isn’t really a color, but this spring you need to bring light in your house and decorating in white (and add a pop of color) is the main thing to do for a brighter home.

The second trend speaks about imposing colors as green, baby blue, yellow on velvet couches and on little accessories like flower vases, a green plant, a blanket or candle jars.

The last, but not the least trend speaks about decorating with a mix of patterns. I mean, try to mix something that fits with the idea of decoration in your mind, but try not to overdecorate ( I mean paint walls in patterns and also put a carpet with lots of pattern).

P.S: Geometric patterns are a real trend!

From all three trends, I have to admit that the last one is my favorite, because these days I really have a passion for geometric tattoos, patterns, sheets and so on. Which one is your favorite?

The ceramic House was the idea of the Spanish architect Hector Ruiz – Velazquez and it is not an actual house, but rather a small apartment in Madrid.

These apartment doesn’t have any entry from room to room, no doors. The idea of the architect being to ease the communication between family members in different rooms.

Although I used the term ‘family’, the architect Hector says that this apartment is dedicated to those who live all by themselves, because the apartment itself it’s not big enough.

The interior is all white because almost everything is made with cerami, and I suspect that the apartment temperature is lower (because of ceramic wall and floor).

Ceramic Tiles

This is one of my favorite options for a contemporary approach. Ceramic may be an expensive material, but if you know where and how to look for it, you can find it a great price. I recommend you an outlet for this.

Beige1 Black Caramel Grey

They look great in every colors, but especially white, black or grey. They are amazing for offices, for living rooms, for the balcony and also for the bedroom. Keep in mind that they will keep the house a little bit cold, but that wouldn’t be a problem in the hot days of summer.

Monchrome Home

Recently, I collected a lot of  photos with monochrome homes and I decided to put a photo with every room in the house and create my own house combining photos from different houses.

First of all, I chose this living room, because it is almost all black and intimate.

Simply Styling

I declared my love for simply things in every single post I wrote here. So, here I am, declaring it again and again.

But this time I will be more specified and I will show you some ideas of how to decorate your house to look as simple as possible and as fancy as possible. If you ever thought that simple and fancy are two opposite things, well, let me show you they aren’t.
