Renovated by architect Luigi Rosselli, the residence features 231 square meters of living space, as well as inviting outdoor entertaining areas, a gas-heated swimming pool and off-street parking for two cars. The lush landscaping at the rear provides a verdant backdrop to family life. Damp, dark and introverted, the initial home on the site was given a vibrant contemporary personality, while staying true to its classic origins.

According to the architects, color and light were used abundantly in the conversion process: “Introducing some fluid lines with a light filled stairwell at the center and a sun drenched kitchen and living at the rear, the new configuration of old and new proves an enriching experience. Accustomed to muted tones, and a subtle palette, a much needed spring was put in our step by the bold use of colors, delphinium blues, cadmium yellows, beautiful artworks, exotic patterns and rich textures carefully selected by the interior designer in residence, Heidi Correa.” How do you find the outcome?
